The ES 165 K2S system consists of two very compact 6 1/2” (165mm) woofers. 
New to this fourth generation of K2 Power kits is the slim profile of the speaker drivers, giving them a shallow depth of 2 1/4” (58mm) to gain in compactness without losing energy. 
With an exceptional sound level, this kit offers unparalleled performance for its size.
Like all the other K2 Power kits, ES 165 K2S features the iconic aramid fibre K2 cone. 

This Focal innovation, in its instantly recognisable yellow cloak, combines rigidity, lightness and damping, the three essentials of a high-performance speaker driver. 
The sound is pure and high impact.
The two ‘M’-shaped inverted dome TKME tweeters, also made of aramid fibre, deliver smooth, precise treble. 
They are combined with bi-amplifiable audiophile crossovers, ensuring optimal control of the high frequencies.
The kit also includes aluminium grilles.
